Team Bergamo

The Bergamo group organizes the adult component of the Registry and coordinates the search for novel genes in autosomal dominant Steroid Resistant Nephrotic Syndrome (SRNS) families.
The Bergamo Group also offers genetic screening in patients affectes by SRNS with onset at adolescence (>13 years old) or adulthood. Genetic screening is performed for TRPC6 and ACTN4 in familial cases, while CD2AP screening is performed in sporadic cases.
Genetic screening is done for research use only, not for clinical purposes.
