Aysin Bakkaloglu and Fatih Ozaltin organize the clinical registry in Turkey.
Moreover, their nephrogenetics laboratory is the regional contact point both for mutation screening in known SRNS genes and for the collaborative project searching for novel SRNS genes.
In their nephrogenetics laboratory, they offer mutational analysis in WT1, NPHS1, NPHS2 and if needed in other recessive genes responsible for SRNS (i.e. PLCE1, LAMB2). In addition, they can perform haplotype analyses, genotyping, high resolution SNP chip analyses for identifying new genes.
